Project Name: World Bank-Initiated Change Management for Haryana State Electricity Distribution Companies (Customer: World Bank)
The objective of this consultancy assignment, initiated by the World Bank, was to assist the Bank in the process of change management at Haryana Electricity Distribution Companies. The projects involved HR process reviews, aligning HR processes with the company’s operational objectives, corporate restructuring in alignment with business objectives, and high-level manpower planning. Tirthadeep had worked in the role of lead consultant. His major consulting areas were:

Project Name: Consulting Study Pertaining to IT-enabled Process Re-engineering for Select Departments of the Government of West Bengal (Customer: IT Department, Government of West Bengal and WBEIDC Ltd., India)
The scope of this consulting study included seven major departments of the government of West Bengal, including agriculture, health and family welfare, panchayat and rural development, land and land reforms, finance, information and cultural affairs, and home affairs. Out of these departments, the Department of Finance was the nodal department. The study involved reengineering the concerned business processes of the above-mentioned government departments to make the government-to-citizen (G2C) and government-to-government (G2G) interfaces more effective and facilitate the implementation of e-government in the state. The broad area of activities as a lead consultant and project manager included defining, maintaining, and meeting project plans. Leading the TCS team. Building customer relationships. Plan and follow-through on projects to ensure profitable, timely, and high-quality completion.
The project life cycle involved the following set of activities:

• Objective formulation and prioritization of objectives,
