Senior Consultant
Rose Michèle G. Clermont is a seasoned Business Development Consultant who honed her skills for more than sixteen years, through the private sector, banking, international non-profit organizations, and project management. As a result-focused professional, the building blocks of her career have been meaningful assignments to diagnose, strategize and deliver. Mrs. Clermont has recently been a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank in promoting private sector development through the Center for Facilitation of Investments in Haiti.
She has brought her expertise to several organizations in the areas of organizational capacity assessment, business plan creation, strategic planning and change management. Rose has worked with SMEs in Haiti and International Organizations such as the Caribbean Development Bank, American Red Cross and TechnoServe.
I conducted an industry analysis and developed a 3-year strategic plan for one of Haiti’s major bank’s credit department. From the revision of the loan procedures, I developed innovative services for small and medium enterprises, built an employee evaluation tool to foster better performance of the department and I created a new marketing plan for the Small and Medium Enterprises department, in order to increase loan portfolio by 15 percent per year.
I managed a Business Accelerator Program that built from a business plan competition organized by TechnoServe in Haiti. After conducting needs assessment for the 60 neo-entrepreneurs, I designed and implemented a follow-up plan, provided assistance in legalization process and 33% of the cohort implemented their business plans and launched their companies.
