Kshitij is an Associate Professor in Strategic Management at IIM Lucknow and a Ph.D. from IIM Bangalore and MBA (Oil & Gas Management). His areas of teaching are Strategy Formulation, Strategy Implementation, International Business, Innovation Management, Decision Making etc. His research areas are corporate governance, corporate political activities, micro-entrepreneurship and public policy. His research has featured in reputed global and national journals like the Business & Society, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Economic and Political Weekly, Development Policy Review, The Economic Papers, IIMB Management Review.
He has been actively involved in Consulting and advisory on topics related to strategic and economic planning, innovation, growth strategies etc for several organisations. He is recipient of CK Prahlad Prashasti, 2022 and Distinguished Paper award from Academy of Management, USA, 2016
Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT, earlier DIPP) has the plans to spur the economy at the district level and selected six pilot districts for the same. Providing a plan to DIPP on three of these district was our task but this 'District Development Plan' project was facing several issues- deciding on the baseline (for 3 % additional District GDP Growth) specially due to lack of data, finding the right set of interventions keeping resource constraints in mind and providing a robust implementation model. We overcame all of them one by one using measures agreed and appreciated by the client and finally completed two part report within the required time frame and the implementation is underway.
