Dr. Jigna has had a fulfilling career of over two decades in technology and management consulting. During her career she has donned multiple hats very effectively. She has led large consulting assignments for leading MNCs across sectors and successfully spearheaded many large projects and big teams. She has also assisted multiple startups to devise winning strategies for their growth.
She is passionate about digital technologies and their impact on strategy, organizations, industries and economies. She has been instrumental in defining and driving the adoption of digital strategies, building the digital architectures, and has led large transformation programs to drive innovative digital business models.
She has worked to devise an innovative DT Simplified(R) framework for guiding the digital transformation for successful outcomes for organizations. This framework is an extension of her research model that she worked on during her doctorate program with SP Jain Centre of Global Management.
Devising IT/Digital Strategy (Connectivity Mobile/Fixed, Cloud Business, 5G and IoT Business) for a leading telecom service provider in India. AIM - To create a digital strategy that will help the organization to traverse the path of digital transformation successfully and enbale them to offer new innovative business models digitally. The purpose of the next gen architecture was to enable them to transition from legacy applications and architecture to next gen digital platform architecture.
Scope - Provide outside in perspectives (trends, standards, industry best practices, global adoption case studies) on digital technologies and its impact on the IT strategy.
Creating reference architecture that is aligned to the industry standards and global best practices.
Review of current IT applications to provide the GAPS and recommendations on the roadmap to transform.
POVs to Strategy stakeholders and CIO – Covering trends in digital technologies and its impact of the IT (B/OSS), reference architectures from different standards for ZSM, 5G, NFV/SDN, cloud native etc. Assessment of the current BSS Systems and providing transformation roadmap.
Devising Cloud business models and reference platform architecture for cloud & 5G.
To design, build, co-operate and optimize the centre of excellence for cloud (Cloud CoE) for a leading telco in Africa
Part of the larger business and technology transformation program, Cloud CoE’s main aim was to accelerate the cloud migration of telco’s workloads across 19 opCos to multi cloud environment, During the initial phase, CCoE’s main focus was developing capabilities in cloud infrastructure and operations.
AIM - To enable CCoE to provide capital efficiency, operational efficiency, service agility and innovation capabilities to the organization.
Role & Scope - Overall lead and Chief Architect for CCoE during the design and build and Senior Platform Consultant (Telco Domain)during operate phase.
Amongst many activities for over 1. 5 years, the key ones included defining the L1-L2 capabilities of the CCoE and Cloud adoption framework which is hyperscaler neutral.
Designing the principles, processes, standards, policies, tools, automations, reporting and governance.
Operationalizing the CCoE processes for two opCos and group
Co-operate with the customer leadership team.
Optimizing the processes, and adapt/ merge the hyperscaler processes.
