Subject: Foreign Direct Investment; Investee business green-transformation & progress monitoring

The Good Fashion Fund (GFF), Netherlands makes long-term debt fund investments in textile & apparel factories in South Asia.

During GFF's India-entry phase, I handled due diligence, green transformation, digitization, labour practice re-organization, L&D capacity delopment and final social certification i.e. complete business transformation & progress monitoring of one of their first investees who was a key player in the entire South Asian region in the then virgin sector of 100% recycled yarns.

This was a first-of-its-kind for all the parties involved - investor, investee and consultant (myself)

Subject: International Development; Financial Transaction Feasibility Research

Fair trade is a term for an arrangement designed to help producers in developing countries achieve sustainable and equitable trade relationships.

During the initial years of the entry of Fashion brands into the global south looking to nominate and on-board their several vendors to transition into fair trade certified production in an effort to clean up their vendor supply chains as well as share a portion of their profits with the workers, I worked with Ernst & Young on a PESTEL analysis for India-entry as well as independently completed a multi-stakeholder consultative study into Indian statutory financial reporting requirements for money movements between the fashion brand, factory and workers.
